Sunset at Desert View
This photograph was taken in October 2001 at the Grand Canyon at Desert View, located at the eastern end of the south rim of the canyon. The sun had long since set and we had packed up gear and were heading toward the car when the sky suddenly put on this dramatic show of colors. I quickly unpacked my equipment and set up in time to take just two shots of this sunset display. The rich colors are superb! This photograph is favorite of many viewers.
